True, because Betty and Veronica were only in the the band to become famous. They were only groupies. When shit went down they left the group. They didn't want to be invovled with any bad publicity.
True, Because they chose to do everything that they did, they alsio left when they felt they couldnt handle the situation anymore. Those actions alone make them responsible for anything that they did. They also joined the band not fully undertsanding what could happen.
True, we think that this is true, because they observed the Indian life and sang in the band only to become famous with them. After they saw sign of failure (e.i. Victor and Junior fighting Michael White Hawk on page 182-183) they left without a trace. They also tore the band apart, because they were white in an all indian band. Also their personal relations with Victor and Junior also effected the band, because the community thought that Indian men should stay with Indian Women (Pg 81)
Reply to Cabarello- I think they need to be forgiven for "stealing all the indian men" becasue they were not the ones that stole any one. It is the men who just desire white women. Your comment is not right because thats not a reason they would need to be forgiven for. Plus the band didnt care if they left.
In response to Jimmy Dean False, Everyone deserves forgiveness. This book teaches us that everyone deserves forgiveness. They did not ruin anyone but themselves. Their actions were tragic, but inconsequential.
In response to Cabarello- We agree with you. Shit did go down, that's why they did leave. They couldn't handle the pressure. We also agree with not wanting bad publicity, because as soon as the fight between Michael White Hawk, Junior and Victor, they left to go home. Although we agree it was your response was vauge and sources weren't present :(
Yes, this is true because Bettty and Veronica were only in the band because they wanted to become famous rockstars. This is prooved when they leave the band they take a record deal from the two guys who offered from New York.
